Egg Tart
Egg Tart is a traditional Chinese dessert consisting of a pastry crust filled with a custard made from eggs, milk, and sugar. The custard is baked in a small tart dish, and is usually served warm or at room temperature. It is a popular dessert in Hong Kong, as well as in other parts of China and Southeast Asia.

To make egg tarts, you will need:
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2/3 cup of butter, cold and cubed
1/3 cup of powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 large eggs
5 tablespoons of cold water
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, butter, sugar, and salt. Use a pastry blender or your hands to mix the ingredients together until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and water until combined.
Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir until the dough comes together.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut out 3-inch circles and place them in greased muffin tins.
Fill each tart with 2 tablespoons of your favorite custard or egg filling.
