Egyptian Tarb Kofta

Egyptian Tarb Kofta
  • 1 lb. minced beef
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mint, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Pita bread or rice, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the minced beef, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, pepper, parsley, mint, and egg.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8-10 portions and shape each portion into a sausage shape.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the koftas to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
  5. Serve hot with pita bread or rice.
