Harira
Harira is a hearty and flavorful soup , typically made with chickpeas, lentils, and a blend of spices. This dish is served on special occasions like Ramadan, or as a warm and comforting meal on chilly days.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup dried chickpeas
- 1/2 cup red lentils
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups of vegetable broth
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
- Soak chickpeas overnight.
- In a large pot, sauté onion until translucent.
