Moo Shu Pork

Moo Shu Pork is a Chinese stir-fried dish made with shredded pork, mushrooms, eggs, and vegetables.

Ingredients:
-1 lb ground pork
-4 cloves garlic, minced
-1 tbsp soy sauce
-2 tbsp hoisin sauce
-1 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry
-1 tsp sugar
-1/4 tsp white pepper
-3 tbsp vegetable oil
-2 cups sliced cabbage
-1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
-1/4 cup sliced green onions
-4-6 thin Chinese pancakes or flour tortillas

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the pork, garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice wine, sugar, and white pepper. Set aside to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the pork mixture and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the cabbage, mushrooms, and green onions and continue to stir-fry until the vegetables are just tender, about 3 minutes more.
  4. Serve the pork mixture with the Chinese pancakes or flour tortillas and hoisin sauce on the side.
