Piri Piri

Piri piri is a fiery sauce originating from Mozambique and widely used in Portuguese and African cuisine. It’s made from bird’s eye chili peppers and is a staple in dishes like grilled meats and vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 6 bird’s eye chili peppers
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a jar and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour before using.
